Sunday meeting time is 10:30
Monday meeting time is 09:00 for breakfast (all-inclusive package only) and 10:00 arrival for non-inclusive.

WRISTBANDS
Sunday wristband: PINK
Monday wristbands:
ALL-inclusive wristbands – YELLOW (including food choice)
NON-inclusive wristbands – GREEN
PLEASE ARRIVE WITH THE CORRECT COLOUR WRISTBAND ON, DO NOT LOSE YOUR WRISTBAND as there
is a fee to replace it. Security will be doing wristband checks in order to gain access to the band throughout the
day. Please note even with a costume/fun mas on you MUST wear your wristband.
Fun mas
You MUST wear all items included. If you are not wearing your shorts you will not be able to join the band.
Sunday – Black fun mas, black leotard (blue writing) and teenager costumes
Monday – blue fun mas, blue leotard and costume masqueraders
HEALTH AND SAFETY
Tropical Fusion have a zero-tolerance policy on unacceptable behaviour, you will be removed from the band
for any inappropriate behaviour towards other band members, staff or the public. We’re only about good music
and good vibes ☺ Carnival can be a very long day, we therefore ask you to drink responsibly and to also drink
water to stay hydrated throughout the day.
As the truck is a moving vehicle we strongly advise you to remain at a safe distance from the wheels at all
times, particularly when using the bar and to party behind the truck and not on the side throughout the day.
You must not jump on/off the truck when it’s moving, if you caught hanging off the truck you will be ejected off –
no dancing on trucks or bus stops.
REMEMBERING GRENFELL TOWER
In memory of those who lost their lives in the Grenfell Tower tragedy, there will be a 72 second silence held
across carnival at 3pm. We expect every Tropical Fusion member to pay their respects.
FAQS
- Does the truck have security?
Yes, there will be a security presence on both days. Policy is tight but polite to ensure everyone has the best
time possible.
- How will I spot a member of staff?
All Tropical Fusion staff members will be wearing , they will be located throughout the band and on the truck, if
you are unsure please speak to security who will all be wearing high vis jackets.
- What happens if I miss the band leaving?
If the band leaves without you, you can catch up on the carnival route. If you stop for any reason, you can catch
up at any point, just look out for the tropical fusion banners and use your wristband to get back behind the
truck. You can track the app in ready di road (download in app store)
- What happens if I miss breakfast
Breakfast will be served at 9am-10am sharp, if you do arrive after this time, unfortunately you will not be
served, as we will be preparing to hit the roads.
- How do I get breakfast & lunch on Monday
There will be token system in place for breakfast and lunch, lunch token will be issued based on the option you
chose when booking, you will not be able to swap this on the day.
- Can my friends join the band?
Only those with wristbands will be allowed in the band. If we find you inviting non-participants into the band
you will be ejected and your wristband removed – We have a zero tolerance policy on this.
- Can I sit down or put my belongings on the trucks?
There is no seating available on the truck, if you have too much to drink and are no longer able to complete the
route, we would recommend you go home for your own safety. Items cannot be stored for security reasons
including headpieces, backpacks and bags, so please pack lightly – we advise only what you can carry all day.
- What do I do if I don’t feel well?
If at any point you feel unwell, please let one of the security/staff members know ASAP. Please if you suffer
from anything please bring your medication. ASTHMA SUFFERERS – BRING YOUR PUMPS!!
- What time does carnival finish?
Floats and parade bands have to clear the streets by 8.30pm. Sound systems play on both Sunday and
Monday, with a strict noise curfew at 7pm.
